Basic Cable Boyfriend Hat
Yesterday morning I was finally able to get to my LYS. I woke up super early (on a side note - why is it that when I have to get up for work, I feel like I could sleep forever but when I CAN sleep forever, I wake up nice and early?). Anyhow, I was able to buy the much needed gray yarn to finish the cabled hat from SnBN for the boy. I hunkered down outside in the gorgeous weather with the stero blaring good music and finished it up. It turned out quite well I think. It looks even better on the boy than me. Unfortunately, I didn't have my camera on me to capture the look, but I will eventually.
Great progress has also been made on the Joseph sweater. Yay for me. I think I shall get that project done in the next day or two. I need to go to the store to get some more yarn but I plan on doing that shortly. After I finish cleaning my dirty, dirty apartment.

Found your blog during search on "Coyote Yarns." We'll see if I have better luck getting there than you did! Pals coming from LaCrosse area want to go to all the fiber shops in the area, so of course we'll start at Lakeside. But I didn't know Coyote existed, until today! Looks like there might be a reason for that.
Anyway, I work at HospiceCare, just south of Madison off of Fish Hatchery Road. Am fortunate to have amazing co-workers, many of whom are knitters. A few of us knit together, usually once a week over lunch. It's sort of a winter thing, but we do talk yarn year-round. And now, nifty co-worker, Shawnee, is working with others to create a group of volunteers to knit "comfort shawls" for patients and their friends/families. Any interest? If so, feel free to reply to my address at HospiceCare. We have a website, of course, if you'd like more info that way. Google search should bring it up.
I'm at home today. A blessed day off to play with friends. In the office again tomorrow (Thursday). Enjoyed reading a bit of your blog, and will likely return to check out your patterns!
