This is gonna be quick

So, so busy - not enough time in the day.  I know I haven't updated in ages but since I got back from Vegas I have been running ragged at work and with school and then it was my 6 month anniversary with the boy (which sadly enough is the longest relationship I have EVER had).  So here's the ten minute run down of what's been going down.

Coming back from Vegas kind of sucked and I had school right away and then my Mom was in town and then it was the weekend and time for anniversary dinner at Ginza.  You would think we would have gone out on the town and had an eventful evening afterwards but instead we just went back to my apartment and watched the Royal Tennebaums.  I guess we both just like to keep it low key.

I have a buttload of conferences that I helped organized  for work this month, the first one occuring this past Monday and Tuesday in downtown Chicago.  The next one is next Thursday and Friday in Itasca, IL and the next one after that is the first Monday and Tuesday in December.  I feel like I haven't had much time for myself, although that's not entirely true.  I have been slowly but surely knitting away on a baby sweater for my cousin's wife, whose baby shower is the first weekend in December (and now I just realized I have to drive from the shower in Waukesha right to Itasca which REALLY blows).  I also started crocheting a star shaped baby blanket while I was out in Vegas.  I hope to get that finished this weekend and the baby sweater over the Thanksgiving holiday, which I am ever so looking forward to so I can have a break.

And now I must get back to work.  I hear some evil flowcharts calling my name.
